Moniker Press’ publishing projects are largely passion driven, low budget collaborations with artists and benefit greatly from the help of volunteers to make it to completion. Thank you to all our present and past volunteers, we are so grateful!

Volunteers typically start by helping out with production tasks (folding, collating, assembly etc) for publishing projects and we welcome you to ask questions along the way. No previous experience is needed to learn with us, if you have an enthusiasm for print, repetitive tasks and willingness to learn you’ll do great!

In 2020, the volunteer program was significantly reduced, and starting in 2022, we have slowly begun reintroducing it. Since then, there has been significant growth in the volunteer list, and while we appreciate everyone’s interest, the availability of opportunities is not guaranteed and will vary depending on our workload and time of year. Moniker Press is a solo-run print shop / publishing project, which means that our capacity for organizing and coordinating volunteers is limited (hello introvert here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯). As a result, the volunteer exchange at Moniker Press is self-motivated, and requires that participants accept the sporadic nature of slow publishing/printing. We much appreciate your flexibility and willingness to contribute.
